	Largest bucket elevator in China! We competed on the world market for a number of bucket elevators for an overseas company's soya bean processing plant in China. A local engineer has reported that one of the bucket elevators supplied by Downfields is the largest in China, in both discharge height and capacity. This equipment is operating on a continuous duty basis and has proved to the client that they made the wisest choice in obtaining their bucket elevators from Downfields.

	Rapid clean down bucket elevators Downfields has developed a unique design for both small and large capacity bucket elevators to minimize boot residue and to provide rapid clean-down. This has proved to be very successful and has saved quite a number of companies’ considerable time and money.

	Unloader for road hopper Downfields has always been renowned for the quality of their design and manufacture. This is evident with the latest series of Road Hopper Unloaders they have developed. Problems with drive chains and belts have been eliminated with the direct coupled geared drive. A heavy duty hand feed control system with visual position indication has been included. To support the heavy flighting assembly, reliable hanger bearings have been utilized. All design grey areas have been eliminated so that this unloader performs exceptionally well in a rugged grain intake environment.
